Kuwait Entertainment City: If you are looking to experience the thrill of high-speed, towering hills and loops or just relax and escape reality, the Entertainment City must be a sure stop. Ice Skating Rink:After watching a figure skater perform, it is impossible not to be overwhelmed by the urge to glide gracefully on ice yourself. This is as good a time as any to go out, learn and practice on ice. The Ice Skating Rink is open on all days of Eid. The rink is open to visitors in one and half hour slots starting from 8:30 am to 10:00 am and the last slot being from 8:30 to 10:00 pm. Visitors pay KD 1.5 for each time period. Green Island: With an artificial lake, a roman amphitheatre, restaurants and cafes and many activities for kids, the Green Island is sure to provide an enjoyable experience. The Island opens at 9 am and closes at 11 pm. For more information, call 2252-6153.
Scientific Center: The Scientific Center is a great place to make a fun trip also an enlightening one. The IMAX will feature ‘Into the Deep’ and ‘Haunted Castle’ shows from the first day of Eid. The discovery place is a great way to learn about science through interactive games and activities. It currently features a ‘Speed Exhibition’, designed to investigate the technology of Formula One auto racing, from physics and engineering to human endurance and biology. The SPEED exhibition consists of 17 interactive exhibits divided into three separate areas - The Race Track, The Fitness Testing Area and The Workshop. Visitors will be challenged by existing hands -on exhibits and displays that explore the fascinating science of speed. The aquarium presents a fantastic new world to discover. The Scientific Center will be open from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday, 10:30 am to 11:30 pm from Monday to Thursday and 12:30 pm to 11:30 pm on Friday.
