Don't miss out on these fun, fantastic & FREE shows for the whole family! :)
When: March 11th Where: Cinescape Laila Gallery, Salmiya Admission: FREE We received some sad & upsetting news from Al M Gallery regarding the FANTASTIC art exhibition of talented Kuwaiti artist Shurooq Amin. Apparently, someone contacted the authorities stating that her art was too "pornographic" or "inappropriate;" therefore, her exhibition has been suspended (???). We wish her the very best, and we hope this issue gets resolved soon so that many others can experience & enjoy her wonderful masterpieces. The hashtag #painttofreedom is currently being used via Twitter regarding the subject matter as well as matters related to censorship in the Gulf.
