DAI Book Club
"This year’s books were selected by members of the book club last season,” said Ahmad Khajjah, DAI steering committee member. “Each member was invited to suggest and present books and then the team voted on which to include in the season. As a result, there’s a good mix of fiction and non-fiction; social/cultural issues and escapist fun." As a rule, the Book Club meets at 7 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the al Maidan Cultural Centre. Friends of the DAI are welcome to join the club and a limited number of each book is available at the museum shop.

Diwan Books Club
In this fast-paced and demanding world we live in, it's becoming difficult to find the time to read and reflect. The rich world of literature is too valuable for us to let it pass by as it can provide us with an escape from our daily routine and broaden our perceptions and understanding of the world. It is for this very reason that the Diwan Book Club was created, in partnership with Starbucks. The main goal of this book club is to provide a platform for people who share a love of literature to come together and discuss their favorite book in a comfortable and respectful atmosphere. We hope to make reading an essential part of the lifestyle in Kuwait!
If you love reading and would like to join the Diwan Book Club, please email: [email protected]
